Do you always need to put le/la/les before a noun in a sentence?

Yes, you would always have to put the 'le/la/les' before the noun. Unless it was a day at the start of a sentence i.e. instead of 'le samedi prochain' it would be 'samedi prochain' but ONLY at the start. Hope i helped :)
