Are games consoles subject to import duties in the UK?

I want to buy a PSVita when it comes out but amazon uk has it listed at �230 yet it's retailing in the US when it comes out at $250 which means it should be �156. If I order it from the US amazon site would I only pay �156 (roughly) or would I also have to pay import duties?
