Noun. Think about how you can use the word. I talked to the shopaholic. That belongs to the shopaholic. The shopaholic went into the store. The purse is of the shopaholic. "Shopaholic, how are you doing?", etc. In all of these cases, shopaholic is a noun used in a different way each time.
