Three Swedish words, whatta they mean?

If it was written with a black letter font it's very likely that the letter 's' in that position looks very much like an 'f'. Jern�ndan = the iron end (with the old Swedish spelling, modern spelling j�rn�ndan), st�fvel = boot (modern Sw. spelling st�vel).
